The present age is called the age of technology. The development of Computer Science and Information Technology has made revolutionary changes in the society. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information and Telecommunication Engineering (ITE) under the faculty of Natural Sciences of Darul Ihsan University have done tremendous progress in coping with this trend. The above departments have now been housed in its own campus at Road No. # 9/A, House No. # 21, Dhanmondi R/A, Dhaka-1209, Bangladesh.
Computer Science is a very diverse subject and there are many opportunities for specialization. Computer Sciences graduates would be able to know the fundamentals of their specialism, so that they can pursue a lifetime learning and understanding of future technological developments.
Computer technological development has revolutionized the information processing in the information technology (IT) sector worldwide with the successful management and exploitation of global information. Facilities available for IT education in our department will provide our students a disciplined approach to the analysis, design, implementation and use of integrated communication and information systems in various organizations, commerce, business, industry and society at large allowing them access to local and global services of all kinds with a social emphasis on the development plan of human resources in Bangladesh thorough IT education.
The prospectus of CSE & ITE of Darul Ihsan University outlines the course structure designed to give graduate students a broad base and full understanding of main areas of CSE & ITE, including the internet, which is a global communication medium of the present age.
With all these in mind, the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering as well as Information and Telecommunication Engineering of Darul Ihsan University have been established and it is marching forward towards a very bright future. When these departments will be able to produce highly skilled and talented students. And these departments then will develop and create highly flourishing technological infrastructures which will contribute greatly towards the development of this country. We are looking forward to that kind of future.
